Charges for Token Replacement
1. Would there be charges if I apply for a hardware token versus SMS token?

Question1: Would there be charges if I apply for a hardware token versus SMS token?
Answer:

Regardless of which token you decide to select, there will no charges incurred for the first hardware token issued.

Question2: Would there be extra charges if I apply for 2 or all the tokens?
Answer:

To better protect the integrity of your account, we are not allowing customers to hold more than one token at each account at this point of time. We will advise you to select the token that suits your lifestyle.

Question3: How much must I pay for token replacement?
Answer:

In the event of loss / damage of the hardware token, finatiQ may levy a fee for replacements specifically caused by loss or negligent damage to the hardware token. The replacement fee for the second “hardware” token is at S$ 20.00.

Question4: What should I do when I discover that my token is damaged?
Answer:

For replacement of damaged tokens, please go to our website;
• Select “Tools & Info” on the orange horizontal bar.
• Select “Overview”, under Download forms.
• Select “Token Replacement” form
• You are required to complete the form and mail it to us duly signed as per your records with the bank.
• We will be able to waive the charges if you were to provide us with the damaged token. Otherwise there will be a replacement fee for the second “hardware” token which is at S$20.00.

Question5: What if I have insufficient funds in my account for replacement fee?
Answer:

You will need to attach a cheque with the replacement form made payable to yourself so that we can subsequently credit your account and perform the necessary deductions. This payment will be reflected in the monthly e statement for your verification.

Question6: Will you charge me replacement fees for the new token if the battery of the token is flat?
Answer:

No, there is no replacement charge levied on customers if the token battery has run out.

Question7: Do I have to pay a fee for the use of the Hardware Token?
Answer:

There are no fees payable / chargeable for the use of the hardware token or SMS token at this point of time.
