Question1: How do I close my personal/joint account with finatiQ? Answer:
Print and complete the "Account Closure Form" from our website and mail it to finatiQ. For joint accounts, all account holders need to sign the form as a form of consent to close the account.
Question2: What if I do not have access to a printer? Answer:
You can make an online request through "Request Information By Post" for finatiQ to send you the form. Alternatively, you may call our hotline at 1800 438 3883 or (+65) 6438 4883 (from overseas) and request for the form to be mailed to you.
Question5: How many days does it take to close my personal/joint account? Answer:
If there are no pending transactions or unit trust holdings, the account will be closed within one working day upon receipt of your duly filled up form. If there are outstanding unit trust holdings, these need to be transferred out of finatiQ or liquidated before finatiQ closes the account. The account balance will then be settled according to the instructions specified in the "Account Closure Form".
Question6: How will I know when my account is closed? Answer:
A confirmation email will be sent on the account closure status. For a joint account, all account holders will receive a confirmation email.
