New Phishing Email and Site Detected Answer: It has been brought to our attention that there is a phishing email leading to a fraudulent website bearing an identical logo and images belonging to Singapore Island Bank.
HOW A TYPICAL SCAM WORKS
The victim would receive an email claiming that he or she needs to complete the online verification for security purpose. He or she would then be tricked into revealing certain banking details to the fraudster.
PLEASE NOTE
We would like to remind our customers and other members of public that the official domain name of Singapore Island Bank is www.finatiq.com. Customers and other members of public are advised to be wary of suspicious websites bearing any resemblance to the Singapore Island Bank website.
Customers and members of the public are also reminded not to reveal nor allow their confidential banking details such as account numbers, access codes, PIN, etc to be shared with any third parties. Just as we should not hand the keys to our house to 3rd parties, we should similarly not share the "keys" to our bank accounts.
