Question3: How do you protect your password? Answer: Important tips on choosing a suitable password and safeguarding it:
• Do not choose a password that is easily identifiable such as your User ID, telephone number, identification number, birth date, etc.
• The password should be alpha-numeric (at least 1 number or 1 alphabet)
• Minimum 6 characters and not more than 9 characters.
• Password is case-sensitive.
• Avoid using repeated or sequential numbers in the password.
• Do not reveal the password to anyone.
• Do not write the password or use it where someone else can see it.
• Change the password immediately if there is reason to suspect that others know about it.
• Do not use the same digit more than twice in your Password or recycle your password.
• The same Password should not be used for different websites, applications or services, particularly when they relate to different entities.
• Change the password regularly. Password can be changed anytime by using the "Change of Password" service.
Note: No staff or agent of the Bank should ever ask you for the password for whatever reasons. As an added security measure, make sure that the password is not stored in the computer. |
